Baron van Tiekerhook BH CGC

Baron. Born October 2005. Male, schutzhund competitor.
"When I received Baron he was severely emaciated, covered with mange, and his coat was very dull. Within a few months of using Vetraceuticals, his coat is VERY shiny, he has no more mange, his eyes are much brighter, and he has a lot more energy, as well as now being at an ideal weight."

Ellie

Ellie, Chinese Crested approx 1 year, female.  "Now with her I have noticed large changes too. She used to have allergies and of course with no hair you could easily see the skin irritation, and her skin was very ashy and dry. I have had comments from other Chinese Crested owners on how nice her skin looks, and I do not have any more allergy problems with her! Now it is not to say that one day she could have an allergic reaction to something, but I know she does not have the break outs and the skin problems that she had in the past!"

Maverick BH

Maverick BH - Born approx April 2000. Neutered male, mixed breed (malinois/shepherd type mix). Has done some schutzhund, sheepherding, and other dog sports, though is mostly retired. extremely terrified of loud popping noises including thunder, fireworks, gunshots, bubble wrap, and even the click a binder makes when you open it! Has eaten premium kibble his entire life (with about a year of raw when he was young), was on canidae I believe (I've forgotten) when we started with vetraceuticals.
This boy is my "scaredy cat". He puts on a good bluff, but would just as soon eat through walls or bloody his paws before tolerating any popping noise. He has always had a great coat and been fairly healthy as an adult, but because of my success with vetraceuticals with my other dogs, Maverick was given it as well. I did not immediately notice a major difference until one day I opened a binder and noticed that Maverick did not get up and run. He looked at me, but did not dive for the table as usual. Then we had some thunder, and while he still shook, he did not go into a blind panic. Fireworks started going off in the area a few weeks before Independence Day this year and I noticed that while he would shake a little and look at me, he was a LOT calmer. I had done nothing different, this dog has been like this for nearly 7.5 years so it took me a while to realize it may really be the vetraceuticals. I decided to take him off of it for a while to see if it made a difference, and it DID. He will continue to be on vetraceuticals. I personally believe that it helps him feel better but also has the B-complex in it that can help a dog dealing with stress.

"Hawk" Healy Lytle vom Klatolklin

"Hawk" Lytle vom Klatolklin  born April 2007, intact male, schutzhund prospect.
This dog had parvo as a puppy and had poor digestion ever since, UNTIL vetraceuticals. He had eaten several brands of food, and various digestive aids. I had tried him on 2 different types of dehydrated raw (honest kitchen and NDF2) and multiple brands of kibble trying to stop the extremely loose stools. We also could not keep weight on him, he was one of those very tall and lanky shepherds. The vet had him listed at 10 lbs underweight about a week before we started vetraceuticals (48 lbs at about 10 months old). When we first started the formula he was eating Honest Kitchen Thrive, but I was switching him to Royal Canin GSD. Within a few days his stools were appearing more normal, within weeks he had gained 10 lbs and for the most part his stools were completely normal (we only had a few loose stools here and there verses all the time). His coat looked better then ever, and he was eating less food but absorbing more of it. 4 months after starting Vetraceuticals I switched him to an entirely raw food (with his 1/2 brother Phoenix) and he has done very well with it. No more stool problems, his coat continues to look wonderful, and he has maintained his weight very well. He continues to lick the bottom of the bowl to make sure he gets every last lick of the powder!

"Phoenix" - Larsen Lytle vom Klatolklin

Male - German Shepherd - born August 2007. Working in schutzhund. This guy is very active and energetic. He was on super premium kibble. Had been having problems with copraphagia (stool eating) to the point he would hunt them out. Drove me NUTS. His coat had always looked good, but sometimes had looser stools. After Vetraceuticals, his stools seemed a bit better. Also he stopped being as obsessive about eating stools as he used to be. 4 months after adding Vetraceuticals I switched this dog to a raw food diet and kept him on the Vetraceuticals and he looks as good as ever. With the raw diet, there is always a concern about balancing the dogs meals over time. I feel better knowing that I'm adding things like the Omega's, and kelp/alfalfa etc, and I LOVE that the formula is rotated through a 3 month process so there is less chance of over supplementing...again, playing on the principle of balance over time. Phoenix is doing super well on Vetraceuticals, and he loves it. He licks the powder off the bottom of the bowl.

Cosette

Female - Born approx August 2007 - maltese/poodle X. This little girl has always been a great eater and on super premium kibble. She loves the supplement itself. Coat looks good when she's groomed up! Her breath seems better.

Maysongs Maestro di Capella CGC

Male - born mid 2005. Papillon.  This is my vetraceuticals miracle dog. He has been a nightmare to maintain since he was a young puppy. His weight has been nearly impossible and he is one of the most finicky dogs I've ever known. We have tried every super premium kibble we can find, including processed raw, homemade raw, and dehydrated foods. We finally had him on Dr. Harvey's canine health mix and he was doing "ok" on it but he still had problems. His breath smelled like he had swallowed something dead and rotting, teeth were poor even with care, and because he didn't care about food he was hard to train. He had gone from 9 lbs to 5 lbs because of his finicky behavior. Had been to the vet a few times for work ups to make sure it was not a medical problem. After putting him on Vetraceuticals his breath smelled MUCH MUCH better, teeth have been easier to maintain (though still small dog teeth), and skin/coat are much better. Weight went back up to normal, and he's less lethargic. Eyes look brighter and he will even work for kibble sometimes now. I tried switching him to kibble thinking that maybe with vetraceuticals he would even eat kibble from now on though he didn't go for that. Now I can just maintain him with Dr. Harvey's and vetraceuticals and he's doing great.

Kaos von haus doose BH WH CGC

Intact male - born August 2005. German Shepherd Dog. Kaos had allergy issues. I had tried several brands of super premium kibble though his ears and feet were always raw. Also another working dog that was hard to maintain weight wise. After going through a few months with vetraceuticals he is eating less food, and his feet have cleared up. Occasionally his ears still flare up but they're MUCH better then they used to be. Coat looks much better. Energy level and attitude are more even. He has been on California Natural herring and sweet potato since before he started vetraceuticals.

"Cyrano" - Ciro zo Severnej Hranice BH SchA CGC (working on Sch1)

Intact male, VERY active, born Dec 2005. - Since going on vetraceuticals this dog has been MUCH easier to maintain. His weight has always been hard to maintain because of his activity level. Before Vetraceuticals he was eating 6 cups of food a day, since vetraceuticals he moved down to 4 cups a day. He has always been eating a super premium kibble. 5 months after starting vetraceuticals we did switch foods as I found something I liked a little better (California Natural Herring and sweet potatoe). Skin and coat looks great though it always did, but now it appears plusher. His activity level has been maintained, though he doesn't seem to "spike" as much as he used to. Just a little more even keel.
